CHERRYBROOK LAKES

Public BBQ

The "Lakes" designation proves somewhat ambitious for essentially tranquil pond yet compact Cherrybrook recreational area delivers unexpected charm genuinely. Small fountain punctuates duck-paddling water whilst Callicoma Bush Walk threads surrounding bushland exploratively. Fully fenced playground suits toddlers particularly well offering sufficient variety engaging young visitors without overwhelming smaller ones protectively. Located opposite Cherrybrook Shopping Village at Macquarie Drive and Shepherd Drive junction, space provides pleasant errand respite, benches invite proper picnics or quick tree lunches conveniently. Maintenance occasionally lapsed leaving edges somewhat unkept regrettably though setting remains agreeable overall acceptably. Dogs on leads welcome connecting additional nearby walking trails creating extended exercise opportunities beneficially.
